CBI is designed to assist Hawaii residential entrepreneurs interested in operating a catering business, lunch wagon, bakery, or other food service related business. The facility features 11 State of Hawaii Health Department certified kitchens including baking, food prep, and full kitchen spaces and storage available at reasonable hourly rental rates.

We support all small food start-ups such as:

Food-related businesses such as production in sauces, gelati, mochi, bentos, crepe batter, dog food, salsa, pizza dough, or specializing in ethnic foods

Entrepreneurship Initiatives

PGC's economic initiatives include programs that provide for job training, creation and placement.

The Pig and The Lady is one of our many successful examples. A former client of our incubation program, The Pig and the Lady, now has a place of its own in Chinatown. As part of our continuing partnership, The Pig and the Lady employs our clients in their work training program, and uses fresh produce grown on PGC farms.

The Pig and The Lady is Honolulu Magazine 2017's Hale'Aina Award Winner, bagging awards in the following categories:

Restauranteur of the Year - Andrew Le
Best Oahu Restaurant -- Gold
Best Vietnamese -- Gold
Best Business Lunch -- Gold
Best Cocktail -- Gold
Best Dessert -- Bronze
